Recently, Professor Yan Kelu, a professor of Textile Chemistry and Dyeing and Finishing Engineering at Donghua University and former director of the National Engineering Research Center for Dyeing and Finishing of Textiles, visited Exponent Envirotech to gain an in-depth understanding of the process principle and commercial progress of the ECOHUES™ waterless dyeing technology. Xiao Feng, general manager of Exponent Envirotech, introduced the development process and application of the technology to Professor Yan in detail.

During the visit, Professor Yan highly praised the ECOHUES™ waterless dyeing technology. She stated that the ECOHUES™ waterless dyeing technology truly achieves zero water use in the dyeing process and is a highly innovative green technology. In addition, the fixation rate of the ECOHUES™ waterless dyeing technology reaches 97%, which is a number that can shake the dyeing and finishing industry. “Hearing this number, one can know that a large amount of water will be saved, because a 97% fixation rate means almost zero floating color, which will greatly reduce the water consumption in subsequent processes such as washing,” Professor Yan praised.

Later, Professor Yan exchanged views with Xiao Feng on the current state of commercial development of the technology, and she fully affirmed the commercial prospects and market potential of the technology. Professor Yan believes that with the increasing attention of all sectors of society to sustainable development, environmental protection and innovative technologies represented by ECOHUES™ waterless dyeing technology will accelerate the green transformation and upgrading of the textile industry.

With a commitment to sustainable development, ECOHUES™ waterless dyeing technology will continue to push the boundaries of innovation and expand its application in order to inject powerful momentum into the green development of the global textile industry.
