Recently, Salt Recovery System designed and installed for WINNITEX XUZHOU Textile Co., Ltd. has successfully completed its acceptance, creating an efficient pathway for the resource recycling of textile wastewater.

01 Collaborating for Green Development

Located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, WINNITEX XUZHOU Textile Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Tianhong Textile Group, focusing on mid-to-high-end cotton, blended cotton, and polyester-cotton dyed fabrics. As a key supplier for many international fashion brands, WINNITEX is keenly aware of the textile industry's increasing emphasis on sustainability and stringent environmental standards. Their partnership with Exponent Envirotech on the Salt Recovery project aims to balance industrial production with environmental improvement through resource recycling technology.

02 Positive Outcomes Reflecting the Value of Circular Technology

After nearly three months of installation and commissioning, the Salt Recovery project was successfully accepted. This system can treat 250 m³ of wastewater daily, reclaiming 2,500 tons of salt and 57,000 tons of water annually. After treatment, the salt concentration in the wastewater is reduced from 4,000 mg/L to 2,000 mg/L, significantly lowering production and wastewater treatment costs while delivering strong social and economic benefits.

Moreover, responding to the client's needs and specific operational conditions, Exponent Envirotech facilitated the reuse of treated water in the washing phase of production, further enhancing resource efficiency. The high quality of this reclaimed water also improves dyeing quality.
